Week 2 Blog- Sarah Betts

To start off my first blog of the final modules course, I am excited to start getting to know my group and continue to discuss our final project. Personally, I am interested in the variety of hobbies people of UNL and the Lincoln community participate in and I am excited to explore one of these in depth. As a group, we discussed the local Lincoln gym, “Big Top”, a performance and event venue in Lincoln. At this gym, people are able to explore their abilities in acrobatics and aerial performances; this is definitely a topic our group can explore to create an interesting presentation. While researching this topic, I am excited for the ability to potentially participate in one of the group classes to full immerse myself in the company. I became very interested in Big Top when one of my group members mentioned it and began watching videos on the classes offered. This project will be challenging because it is something out of my comfort zone, but I am excited to try something new. Because there weren’t any assignments that our group needed to do before today, we made our Word Press website and started the group contract. So far, we have not encountered any problems; however, I know this will not always be the case. In the future, I will limit the problems our group will encounter by holding all members accountable and using extensive communication.
