Week 12 Blog

Finding photos from coffee places here in Lincoln that already exists has been relatively easy to do. Videos that already exist are harder to find and harder to really capture. This may mean that our site be mostly photography and writing focused with maybe some graphic designing. Finding more personalized content, like pictures from people we all know, has been slightly more challenging. Also, we had the idea to have them write something small with their pictures of what they think of coffee shops or what they mean to them. This has also been a little more challenging, just on a time aspect because they are also dealing with classes transitioning right now. This week we all reached out to friends to get permission to use photos of them and ask them to write a little excerpt for their opinion and outlook on coffee places. I think when we decide we may want more in the future, we need to ask earlier in advance to give others more time to compose something. I think as a group in the next coming weeks and days we need to plan more of our project out on how we want it to look, as well as narrow down what we include. Because we cannot go out and capture content like we originally planned, the coffee shop idea still works, it just need to be shifted in some additional ways than we have already done.
